I’m Devonia Reed — speaker, educator, children’s book author, and certified parent coach.
Born and raised in Chicago, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s in Reading, and certification in Educational Leadership. Over the past 20 + years, I’ve served children and families across educational setting—teaching, mentoring, and advocating with a focus on reaching kids and the adults who care for them.
As a single mother of four boys, I understand the challenges of parenting while navigating life’s demands. My journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been full of reflection, growth, and purpose. Through those experiences, I’ve come to believe that the most powerful gift we can give our children is a strong, intentional relationship.
I’m passionate about equipping parents with tools to build deeper connections with their children. My approach is honest, heart-centered, and shaped by both lived experience and lifelong learning. I believe that parenting is a journey, not a performance — and I’m honored to walk alongside families as they navigate it with intention.
I’m also the author of three children’s books that explore real, relatable topics kids face today. Whether through coaching, speaking, or storytelling, my work is rooted in a passion for helping families thrive.
